Bringing Communities Together Through Music

Cantata Music Education runs four choirs and an orchestra, based in East Cheshire.
The cost for each group is £7.50 per session, paid half-termly or termly, which includes music and tuition. For all new-comers, the first session is free by way of a taster. Get in touch or learn more below.

Welcome to Cantata Music

Our emphasis is very much on fun & enjoyment

In Cantata Music Education we are passionate about bringing people together through the joys of shared musical experiences, whether that’s in one of our choirs, or our small orchestra.

A large majority of our choir members had never sung in a choir before. They are now experiencing the health, well-being and general joie de vivre that comes with singing in a large group.

There is no audition process and choir members do not need to have any previous experience. Those who have little, or no musical knowledge are taught the basics as they go along.

Our orchestra is for adults only and is aimed particularly, but not exclusively, at adult beginners of people who have not played for a long time.

If you have taken up an instrument in retirement for example, this could be the group for you.

The choirs and orchestra each perform two concerts every year and information about these can be found on the page for each group.
