WOWSingers
After the successful launch of our Macclesfield choir in 2010, AgeUK approached us again with a view to setting up a choir in Wilmslow. WOWSingers was launched in September 2011 and became the second of our ladies choirs as no men came along to join the ranks. This choir has recently grown in size and is now nearly up to thirty members.
We are just making the transition from singing in two parts to three parts which is opening up a world of new, wonderful music for our ladies to sing. Although this choir meets in a morning, we still have our brew and a natter at the end of rehearsals.
We meet at:
Morley Green Club, Mobberley Road, Wilmslow, SK9 5NT.
Rehearsals:
We meet on Wednesday mornings from 10.20am—12 noon.
Fees:
Fees are £5 a session paid in half-termly blocks with new members paying weekly for their first half term until they decide to join us full-time.
