WAKS Lyrical
Building on the success of MAPSingers, members who traveled across from Knutsford asked for their own daytime choir and we were happy to oblige! WAKS Lyrical (Wednesday Afternoon Knutsford Singers) was launched in June 2009 and now consists of around thirty five members, including a small section of men. This choir loves to sing a wide variety of music and have included pieces from the classical through to show songs and more traditional numbers.
We meet at:
St Vincent’s RC Church Hall, Tatton Street, Knutsford, W16 6HR.
Rehearsals:
The choir meets on Wednesday afternoons from 2.00pm to 3.30pm. Rehearsals finish with the usual brew and a biscuit.
Fees:
Fees are £5 per session payable in half-termly blocks but new members may pay weekly for their first half term as they get to find their singing voices and hopefully then decide to join us full-time.
